Erling Revheim "Relax" Norwegian Recliner Armchair & Ottoman 1974 Mid-Century Modern.
Delivering a strong mid-century look with its curved chromed steel arms and welcoming buttoned leather cushions, this is one cool chillax chair and ottoman.
In excellent condition both structurally and cosmetically, there is some aging to the leather and a faint but visible stain to the head area of the cushion. There is also some very mild staining to the ottoman cushion, but luckily this chair comes with a spare! We tried this additional cushion as a headrest, which also works well (see pics).
All metalwork is very good and polishes to a high shine with very mild surface marks commensurate with age.
One string is absent from the main cushion, but any shoelace will fix this. We have left the original string remnants in situ for the purists.
All zips in great good working order and the structural canvas, which is beautiful in itself, is also in very good order. The stuffing is fine and springy, and appears new.
