1990's Paolo Rizatto & Alberto Medea for Luceplan "Fortebraccio" D33 Desk Lamp
1990's Paolo Rizatto & Alberto Medea for Luceplan "Fortebraccio" D33 Desk Lamp
A wonderful example of a late 20th century Italian desk lamp by Luceplan. Featuring the increasingly rare orange handle, the d33 is notable for its remarkable range of positions, being fully articulated at three points plus rotation at the base, middle and top.
Another great feature is that the top section of the lamp can be detached and used as a handheld inspection torch. A fantastic and unusual piece of design that goes beyond the standard of functionality for articulated desk lamps
The lamp requires a b15 bulb and is fitted with 2 m of white plastic cable. The light is operated by a black switch in the handle
All parts are original and nothing has been changed.
In terms of condition, the lamp is structurally in excellent order and fully working. There is some paint floss here and there particularly to the shade which also has a minor ding. All the condition issues can be seen in the images provided, and I have tried to show the range of movement that this light offers.
